The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a key role in overseeing the company’s financial operations and ensuring long-term financial health. This role will be responsible for managing cash flow, raising capital, strategic planning in collaboration with the CEO, preparing financial statements, and leading the internal finance team. The ideal candidate will be highly strategic, analytical, and capable of driving financial performance while ensuring sound financial practices are followed.

Specific Skills
  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior finance leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial reporting
  • Demonstrated experience in fundraising and managing investor relations. Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
  • Experience working with internal finance teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities & Duties
Cash Flow Management:
  • Oversee and manage the company's cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
  • Monitor day-to-day financial operations, including disbursements and receipts, to optimize cash management.
  • Develop and implement effective cash flow forecasting models to ensure future financial needs are met.
Fundraising:
  • Lead efforts to raise capital through equity, debt, or alternative financing options to support business growth and expansion.
  • Cultivate relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions to secure funding.
  • Ensure the company’s financials are attractive and well-positioned for investor presentations and discussions.
Strategic Planning (in Collaboration with the CEO):
  • Work closely with the CEO to develop and execute the company’s strategic vision.
  • Provide financial insight and guidance on key business decisions and investments.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities and propose strategies to enhance growth and profitability.
Financial Statement Preparation:
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.
  • Manage year-end audit processes and maintain transparent financial records.
Internal Finance Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the internal finance team to ensure optimal performance.
  • Create an environment that encourages continuous learning and growth within the team.
  • Ensure that all financial controls, processes, and systems are in place and operating efficiently.
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (master’s degree or CPA preferred).
