About The Job
The position encompasses management of the mobility solutions technology, including in-car technology, telematics, and frontend/backend IT.

Participates in strategic planning and prioritizing of application enhancements to accomplish long- and short-term goals.

Steers implementation of new specifications and requirements (e.g., functions) of mobility applications.

Coordinates ongoing analysis of insights derived from telematics and recommends actions.

Works with Sales and Marketing to gather market needs and preferences.

Supports Operations in optimizing costs and asset utilization through rigorous data analysis.

Ensures availability of necessary product approvals and certifications (aligned with VWGA and other departments).

Manages product/software updates via central defect and release management.

Consolidates IT activities and ensures readiness of infrastructure and software.

Responds to all client IT-related queries.

Manages the interests of Volkswagen Mobility Company.

Other duties as assigned by management.
Specific Skills
- 3-5 Years relevant industry experience
- Experience and proven track-record in Data analytics - Software management - Cyber security
- Experience in using data to improve business outcomes and customer experience
- Excellent knowledge of Kinyarwanda and English; French or another language will be an added advantage
- Strong data visualization skills
- Strong Organizational skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication
- Strong Client-Facing Skills
- Ability to manage various stakeholders at national and international levels
- Project management skills
- Good understanding of B2C applications
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities & Duties
- Data Analytics
- Collection and analysis of data to inform decisions on customer experience
- Collection and analysis of data to inform decisions on efficient fleet management
- Collection and analysis of data to optimize fleet dispatch
- Visualization and communication about key performance metrics of the business
- Updating and ensuring integrity of data
- Technical Product Development
- Technical approval management of the system and technology with VWSA
- Requirement management of the product including functionalities and tracking of customer journey (ensuring implementation in product)
- Definition of release plan for software and hardware development and ensuring of timely implementation
- Tracking of defects in the development and release process and ensuring of defect handling and solution definition
- Incident Management
- Coordination and tracking of incidents during operation
- Ensuring of fast response to incidents in order to enable a running system and bug fixing across end-to-end system
- Technical responsibility for crisis and escalation management
- Data Privacy Law
- Informing and advising the Data Controller and its employees carrying out processing operations about their obligations under the DPP Law and other applicable data protection provisions:
- Working with the Group Chief Data Protection Officer to define a data protection framework for the company.
- Monitoring compliance with the DPP Law, other applicable data protection provisions and the Data Controller's strategies for the protection of personal data, including the allocation of responsibilities, awareness-raising, and training of staff involved in the processing operations and related verifications and audits:
- On request, advising in connection with the data protection impact assessment and it's implementation pursuant to Art. 40 and Art. 41 of the DPP Law:
- Cooperating with supervisory authority
- Acting as a contact point for the supervisory authority on issues
- Acting as a contact point for the exercise of data subjects' rights processing their and inquiries related to data processing activities
Educational Requirements
- BA/MA in IT, Data Analytics, or related field
