About The Job

As part of the operations of the INZOVU MALL shopping center, the E&S Coordinator is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving environmental, social, health, safety, and governance (ESG) performance on site. The Coordinator ensures compliance with lender standards (IFC), local regulations, and the Group's internal policies.

Specific Skills
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably on a large-scale site (mall, real estate or industrial project).
  • Strong knowledge of IFC Performance Standards / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001.
  • Excellent communication skills, pedagogical approach, strong field presence.
  • Autonomy, rigor, and ability to prioritize.
  • Fluency in French and English is mandatory.
Responsibilities & Duties
  1. Environmental & Social Management
    • Oversee the implementation of the Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) during the operational phase.
    • Monitor ESG indicators and ensure regular reporting to the headquarters.
    • Identify non-conformities and propose corrective action plans.
    • Manage relationships with local stakeholders (residents, authorities, communities, NGOs, etc.).
  2. Health, Safety & Hygiene (HSE)
    • Ensure proper implementation of HSE protocols for contractors, tenants, and visitors.
    • Organize periodic HSE audits of the shopping center.
    • Lead risk management, accident prevention, and evacuation planning.
    • Ensure ongoing training of staff on E&S/HSE matters.
  3. Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations (noise, waste, wastewater, etc.).
    • Participate in administrative inspections and liaise with competent authorities.
    • Ensure that tenants comply with the mall’s environmental rules and guidelines.
  4. Corporate Social Responsibility & Communication
    • Implement CSR initiatives on site (local employment, community projects, etc.).
    • Raise awareness among tenants and visitors about the best environmental practices.
    • Manage the grievance mechanism and oversee proper resolution.
Educational Requirements
  • Higher education (Bachelor’s or Master’s level) in environment, HSE, sustainable development, engineering, or equivalent.
