A Finishing Engineer in a construction company is responsible for overseeing and managing the final stages of construction projects, ensuring that all finishing works such as plastering, painting, flooring, tiling, and other interior and exterior finishes are completed to the highest standards. They coordinate with contractors, architects, and site supervisors to ensure that all finishes align with design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Specific Skills
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in site finishing, preferably in large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of finishing materials, methods, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and project
- English speaking
Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all finishing activities on-site, ensuring they meet project standards and specifications
- Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and sequencing of finishing tasks.
- Inspect and ensure the quality of finishing work such as plastering, painting, flooring, tiling, false ceilings, and joinery.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all finishing activities.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and execution of finishing works.
- Monitor the progress of finishing activities, addressing any issues or delays, and providing regular updates to the project manager.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve any issues related to finishes, ensuring corrective actions are taken when necessary.
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports on finishing works.
- Ensure adherence to budget and timelines, optimizing resource use where possible.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
