About The Job

The Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of the hotel's food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service, banquets, and other F&B services. The
manager ensures that all guests receive a memorable dining experience, maintains high standards of
service, and maximizes revenue while adhering to budgetary constraints. The F&B Manager will
supervise the F&B team, train staff, and work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house operations to
deliver top-quality service in line with the hotel’s luxury standards.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Ensure that all team members are trained, skilled, and aware of their responsibilities.
  • Prepare and manage the F&B department’s budget, ensuring cost control and profitability.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation and high guest satisfaction.
  • Supervise, lead, and motivate the F&B team, ensuring high levels of performance and morale.
  • Ensure all F&B outlets meet and exceed guest expectations in terms of food quality, service, and presentation.
  • Monitor and evaluate financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Oversee the implementation of guest feedback systems and take necessary actions to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Develop pricing strategies and promotional offers to drive revenue growth.
  • Handle guest complaints, special requests, and other concerns, ensuring swift resolution.
  • Manage daily operations of all F&B outlets, including the restaurant, bar, room service, and catering.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety in all F&B areas.
  • Oversee food and beverage inventories, ordering, and supply management to ensure that all outlets are well-stocked with high-quality items.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards as required by local authorities.
  • Implement and monitor quality control procedures for food, beverages, and service.
  • Work closely with the executive chef and kitchen team to ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for staff on F&B service standards, product knowledge, and customer service techniques.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes team cohesion and personal growth.
  • Prepare and manage rosters, ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional campaigns, events, and special offers.
  • Ensure proper signage, menu displays, and communication of promotions to guests.
  • Maintain accurate records of F&B operations, including sales reports, inventory control, and staff performance.
  • Regularly report to the Hotel Operations Manager/General Manager on operational progress, challenges, and achievements.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and guest preferences to stay ahead of the competition.
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or Management or related fields
