About The Job
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Truck & Machinery Mechanic to perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on heavy trucks and machinery. Responsibilities include inspecting and repairing engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and other components, following technical guidelines, maintaining service logs, and ensuring workplace safety.
Specific Skills
- At least 2 years of experience in heavy truck or construction machinery repair; relevant certifications are a plus
- Familiarity with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electronic control systems
- Strong troubleshooting and hands-on repair skills
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and a good team player
- Willingness to work overtime or travel for on-site repairs if required
Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for heavy trucks and machinery
- Inspect and repair engines, transmissions, chassis, electrical systems, and other components
- Follow repair manuals and technical guidelines to ensure standardized operations and quality maintenance
- Accurately record repair details, complete maintenance reports, and update service logs
- Maintain repair tools and equipment, ensuring a clean and organized workspace
- Adhere to safety regulations and ensure all repair work is performed safely
Educational Requirements
- Vocational school diploma or higher, preferably in Automotive Repair, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
