About The Job

Lead and develop the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) activity as well as all internal and external events at INZOVU MALL, with the objective of enhancing venue value, increasing footfall, and maximizing event-related revenues.

Specific Skills
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a similar role, ideally in an international or East African context.
  • Strong skills in project management, multi-stakeholder coordination, and budget oversight.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, client-focused mindset, and a flair for innovation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), CRM tools, and event management software.
  • Fluent in English – French is a strong asset.
Responsibilities & Duties
  1. Development of the MICE Activity
    • Define an ambitious and tailored MICE commercial strategy aligned with the mall’s premium positioning.
    • Identify and prospect new clients (corporates, institutions, agencies, NGOs, embassies, etc.).
    • Design and update attractive, competitive, and innovative commercial offers.
    • Negotiate rental contracts and associated service agreements.
    • Implement a CRM system for customer tracking and loyalty management.
  2. Event Planning and Management
    • Develop a structured and impactful event calendar to strengthen the mall’s image and boost traffic.
    • Manage private event requests: needs analysis, feasibility, scheduling.
    • Oversee the operational coordination of events (vendors, logistics, technical setup, security, catering, etc.).
    • Apply best practices in customer reception, accessibility, service, and guest experience.
  3. Administrative, Budgetary and Reporting Oversight
    • Draft quotes, commercial proposals, and contracts.
    • Monitor event budgets: forecast, execution, variance analysis.
    • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs): occupancy rate, revenue, customer satisfaction, etc.
    • Provide regular performance reports to management.
  4. Internal Coordination and Synergies
    • Work closely with:
      • The partner hotel to propose “event + accommodation” packages.
      • The coworking space to mutualize services and space utilization.
      • The communication team to promote events and boost visibility.
      • The technical and security departments to ensure seamless operations.
  5. Customer Experience and Continuous Improvement
    • Implement a quality approach: satisfaction surveys, post-event reviews, complaint handling.
    • Leverage client feedback to refine service offerings and operations.
    • Ensure the consistency of all events with the brand image of INZOVU MALL.
   
Educational Requirements
  • Higher education degree (Master’s level) in business, marketing, event management or hospitality.
