About The Job

The Partnerships Supervisor is responsible for managing and optimizing the bank’s partnerships within the Retail & Digital Banking space. This role ensures that products and services are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively, directly impacting customer satisfaction and the bank’s profitability. The Supervisor will oversee key relationships with external partners, including fintechs, third-party service providers, and strategic retail partners, to ensure alignment with the bank’s objectives and seamless service delivery.

Specific Skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in partnership management, retail banking, or a related field. Experience in managing third-party relationships, particularly within the banking or financial services industry, would be an added advantage.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong understanding of retail banking products and services.
    • Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
    • Knowledge of digital banking channels and fintech partnerships is an advantage.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across multiple departments.
    • Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to partnerships in the banking industry.
Responsibilities & Duties
  • Partnership Strategy Implementation: Assist in the development and implementation of partnership strategies that align with the bank’s goals in retail and digital banking. Ensure all partnerships support the expansion of the bank's products and services.
  • Partner Relationship Management: Maintain strong working relationships with external partners to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. Act as the main point of contact for partners, addressing issues, concerns, and opportunities for collaboration.
  • Service Delivery Monitoring: Monitor the performance of partners in delivering products and services. Ensure that service level agreements (SLAs) are met, and take corrective action when performance falls short.
  • Cost Efficiency: Ensure that all partnerships operate in a cost-effective manner, identifying opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining or improving service quality. Work closely with the finance team to track expenses related to partnerships.
  • Product & Service Integration: Collaborate with internal teams, including IT, marketing, and product development, to ensure smooth integration of partner-provided products and services. Ensure that new solutions are delivered on time and meet customer expectations.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that the services provided by partners contribute positively to overall customer satisfaction. Work closely with the customer service and feedback teams to address any issues related to partner-provided services.
  • Risk & Compliance: Ensure that all partnerships comply with legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements. Regularly assess the risk associated with partnerships and take steps to mitigate them.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Prepare and present regular reports on partnership performance to senior management. Use data and insights to make recommendations for improvements in partnership management and service delivery.
  • Contract Management: Assist in negotiating and managing contracts with external partners. Ensure that all terms are favorable to the bank and that the partnership agreements align with the bank’s long-term objectives.
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. A relevant professional qualification in banking, project management, or partnership management is an added advantage.
