About The Job

The Sales Business Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve company revenue targets and drive business growth. They develop sales strategies, set performance goals, and monitor market trends to identify new opportunities. The role also involves creating and optimizing distribution channels to ensure efficient product or service delivery to the market.

Additionally, they build and maintain strong client relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee key sales operations such as forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.

  • 3 years of proven experience in business sales development within cement or construction materials industries like (hardware, ceramic, steel and etc...)
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong communication skills especially in English
  • Good presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Having means of Transport.
Responsibilities & Duties
  • Sales Strategy & Planning:
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company objectives and revenue targets in the cement industry.
    • Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to refine sales tactics.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, production, logistics) to align sales strategies with business goals.
  • Business Development:
    • Identify new business opportunities in both existing and emerging markets within the cement and construction sectors.
    • Develop long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors, construction companies, real estate developers, and distributors.
    • Explore and secure large-scale projects, infrastructure contracts, and government tenders.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and solutions tailored to their needs.
    • Manage key accounts and negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize profitability.
  • Sales Performance & Reporting:
    • Monitor sales performance through regular reporting and forecasting.
    • Analyse sales data to identify trends, performance gaps, and areas for improvement.
    • Present regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and strategies to senior management.
  • Team Management:
    • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales representatives or account managers.
    • Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular evaluations, and provide ongoing support and development opportunities.
    • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and customer-centricity.
  • Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
    • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the cement market.
    • Gather and analyze market intelligence to identify opportunities for product innovation and market expansion.
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management specialised in Sales, Marketing, any other related field.
