About The Job
Under the supervision of the Chief Accountant, The Senior Accountant will assist in maintaining the general and analytical accounting for all operations related to the implementation of the company’s
engagement system according to current accounting standards. The Senior Accountant will follow the administrative and financial procedures of Tractafric Equipment Rwanda and comply with the
applicable legislation.
Specific Skills
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the accounting field
- Mastery of the OHADA accounting system
- Proficiency in computer tools (Sage, Excel, Word)
- Ability to search for accounting documents
- Rigor and reliability
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines, be thorough, and precise
- Ability to integrate into an accounting decision-making process
- Ability to adopt a control-oriented approach
- Comfortable with a regulatory role in applying regulations
- Ability to handle urgent situations
Responsibilities & Duties
- Identifying and entering invoices from suppliers
- Extracting, processing, and entering invoices
- Reconciling and aligning stock levels
- Checking and matching supplier accounts
- Handling and reconciling INTERCO (intercompany) transactions
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or any equivalent degree in accounting
- ACCA or CPA certification
