As a Human Resource and Administrative Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's HR and administrative functions. Your responsibilities will span across various domains, including human resources, administration, and finance recovery.

Specific Skills
  • Proven experience in HR and administrative roles, preferably with exposure to fleet management and finance recovery.
  • Understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Familiarity with fleet management processes, vehicle maintenance, and safety standards.
  • Basic knowledge of financial recovery principles and debt collection procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
Responsibilities & Duties
Human Resources:
  • Facilitate recruitment and selection processes, including sourcing candidates, screening applications, and coordinating interviews.
  • Manage employee on-boarding and off boarding procedures, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Support performance management initiatives, including employee evaluations and development plans.
  • Address employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances in a timely and empathetic manner.
  • Oversee employee benefits administration and leave management.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Administration:
  • Manage daily administrative tasks, including office supplies, equipment maintenance, and facility upkeep.
  • Organize and schedule company events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence and communications.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a safe and secure working environment for employees.
  • Oversee travel arrangements and accommodations for employees as needed.
Finance Recovery:
  • Collaborate with the finance team to manage and track outstanding payments and debts.
  • Communicate with clients and customers to facilitate timely payments and address financial concerns.
  • Implement effective financial recovery strategies to minimize delinquencies and overdue accounts.
  • Maintain accurate financial recovery records and produce regular reports for management.
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
