The Public Sector Officer is responsible for implementing the Bank's Public Sector strategy at the country level. This position focuses on managing and driving growth across all product lines, sales, services, and distribution aspects related to the Public Sector. The role includes influencing key business sector decisions, strategic policy-making, and ensuring seamless coordination across relevant teams and stakeholders.

Specific Skills
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in banking, with a focus on Public Sector
  • Strong understanding of Public Sector financial needs and products.
  • Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in business analysis, policy-making, and project management.
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external team.
Responsibilities & Duties
  • Execute the bank's Public Sector strategy within the country, aligning with overall organizational objectives.
  • Oversee the development and distribution of products tailored to the needs of Public Sector clients, ensuring they meet their financial and service expectations
  • Drive sales and business growth by identifying opportunities within the Public Sector and building strong relationships with government entities, ministries, and other public bodies.
  • Engage with key stakeholders in the Public Sector, providing expert advice on the Bank's services and products while fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with senior management to provide insights into Public Sector needs and market dynamics, contributing to policy development and strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure top-tier service delivery for Public Sector clients by coordinating with internal teams to optimize service standards and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure all public sector-related activities are in compliance with local regulations and internal risk management protocols.
  • Generate regular performance reports, highlighting progress against goals, challenges, and recommendations for improvements.
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Economics, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or equivalent is preferred.
