About The Job

The Sales Representative is responsible for prospecting and selling machines, generators, forklifts, and tractors represented by Tractafric Equipment in Rwanda, as well as their accessories, within their assigned geographic area. This must be done while meeting assigned targets for margins, revenue, and sales volume.

Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales.

Responsibilities & Duties

1) Sales Prospecting

  • Develop and implement a prospecting plan in collaboration with the Managing Director.
  • Build and manage a database of potential clients.
  • Respond to tenders issued by prospects.
  • Conduct market research to gather necessary technical and commercial information (customer analysis, suppliers, etc.).

2) Sales Negotiation

  • Present offers, including technical solutions, quotes, and pricing models.
  • Provide customers with product samples and necessary documentation.
  • Prepare and finalize sales contracts.
  • Ensure the collection of receivables.

3) Commercial Information Management

  • Submit visit reports and sales contracts to management.
  • Ensure proper communication of commercial information to the sales administration team.
  • Monitor sales objectives (revenue, margins).
  • Maintain sales performance dashboards.
  • Provide strategic technical and commercial insights from fieldwork to relevant departments (technical, marketing, etc.).
  • Inform management of customer feedback or complaints.
  • Prepare sales plans and follow up on promotional activities with management.

4) Customer Relationship Management & Development

  • Manage and expand a client portfolio.
  • Analyze client needs and identify business opportunities.
  • Propose new solutions, such as product developments, new product lines, or comprehensive offers.
  • Ensure product quality upon customer receipt.
  • Ensure contract compliance.
  • Provide maintenance advice.
  • Guarantee customer satisfaction.
Educational Requirements
  • Advanced Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or any related field.
