About The Job
We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team at PIL Rwanda Ltd.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the shipping and logistics Industry and a proven track record of below mentioned skills or accomplishments.
Specific Skills
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in the Shipping and Logistics Industry
- Strong portfolio showcasing achievements and expertise
- Proven track record of Strong network and connections in the import/export industry
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong network and connections in the import/export industry
- Experience with CRM software and sales pipeline management
- Knowledge of market trends and analysis
- Fluency in multiple languages (e.g., English, French, Swahili, etc.)
- Experience with digital marketing and social media platforms
- Certification in logistics, sales, or marketing (e.g., CILT, CIM, etc.)
- Familiarity with Rwandan market and trade regulations
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and execute strategies to bring onboard new potential accounts/customers for both import and export across all sectors, meeting monthly targets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Assist in growing the RW branch and increasing its market presence in the region
