About The Job

Our client in the FMCG sector is looking for a proactive and results-driven Sales Representative to join its commercial team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling food products to a diverse client base, maintaining strong customer relationships, and driving business growth.

 

Specific Skills

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Execute the organization's Sales Service Offering (SSO) and Perfect Store Guidelines (PSG) for Resellers and Stockists within the assigned territory, ensuring strict adherence to call schedules and structured sales calls.
  • Contribute to setting sales targets for the territory and individual customers; monitor performance against these targets and identify areas for improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding their business, ensuring clear communication, and collaborating with Logistics and Finance teams to fulfill service commitments.
  • Drive order volumes to meet and exceed sales targets through effective customer reviews, sales narratives, and profit-driven conversations.
  • Communicate pricing updates to customers and guide them toward desired Recommended Retail Prices (RRPs) at store level.
  • Accurately record and maintain customer and sales interaction data using the Sales Force Automation system.
  • Support trade marketing initiatives through direct engagement and coordination with internal teams and third-party partners.
  • Monitor and report on competitor activities and emerging market trends within the territory.
  • Ensure consistent quality standards across all trade activities and promptly report any deviations.
  • Collaborate closely with Telesales, Local Operations Center (LOC), and Credit Control teams to enhance customer service and drive satisfaction.
  • Adhere to the organization's policies and procedures, including those related to health, safety, environment, risk and quality (SHERQ), competition compliance, and anti-bribery and corruption.
Educational Requirements
  • Diploma in Business Administration. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/ Commerce/ Marketing is an added advantage.
