Electrical Engineer

• 3–7 years of experience in technical office roles within construction or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Electrical shop drawings (power, lighting, earthing, lightning, ELV systems).
  • Single Line Diagrams (SLD), panel schedules, cable sizing, voltage drop calculations.
  • Review and coordination of IFC drawings vs. design vs. site conditions.
• Solid experience in Quantity Surveying (QS):
  • Preparing BOQs, material take-off (MTO), quantities verification, variations.
  • Good understanding of contractual items, scope breakdown, and cost impact of changes.
• Strong background in Site Execution:
  • Supervising electrical installations (cables, trays, MDBs, SMDBs, MCCs, grounding, etc.).
  • Coordinating with subcontractors, civil teams, and other disciplines.
  • Ensuring compliance with standards and project specifications.

Software Skills

• AutoCAD (advanced level).
• MS Office (especially Excel for QS and cost control).
• Revit / BIM (preferred, not mandatory).
• Electrical calculation software (ETAP / Ecodial / similar – advantage).

• High attention to detail (especially for QS and drawings).
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Additional Criteria

• Prior experience with a major contractor or engineering consultant is a big advantage.
• Experience in infrastructure, industrial, or large-scale building projects preferred.
• Good command of English (spoken & written).
• Able to join immediately or within short notice (if applicable).

• Prepare and revise shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical submittals.
• Issue MTOs and support the procurement team with technical evaluations.
• Study and validate subcontractor invoices and prepare progress reports.
• Coordinate with site team to ensure technical compliance and resolve conflicts.
• Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and technical workshops.
• Prepare RFI’s, method statements, and ensure proper documentation.
• Support project planning with material tracking and resource analysis.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
