About The Job

The primary purpose of the role is to develop, lead, and supervise the sales or rental teams for machines and generators, with the goal of improving commercial coverage across the assigned zones, increasing sales, and enhancing profitability.

The Commercial Manager is responsible for commercial development for our client across all market segments—forestry, mining, public works—as well as developing the commercial strategy.

  • Minimum 5 years in profit center management and in developing distribution activities or in leading a sales force.
  • Experience managing a team of more than 10 employees.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Develop sales of new and used machines in line with the Group's strategy for distributed brands.
  • Develop rental services in the spirit of “RUN: Rental, Used, New.”
  • Participate in defining and implementing the commercial sales policy for the assigned zone in collaboration with the Branch Director.
  • Develop, lead, train, and supervise the commercial teams.
  • Manage and follow up on regional and key accounts, and increase their number through prospecting activities.
  • Propose the business plan (BP) for machine sales and rental.
  • Build a high-performing commercial team aligned with market needs and budget.
  • Organize market and client coverage by the sales force (geographical segmentation, products, industries, etc.).
  • Lead and monitor dashboards.
  • Manage commercial agreements and sign quotations.
  • Directly follow major regional key accounts and work jointly with offshore machine sales departments for international clients.
  • Set objectives for salespeople (number of machines—new, used—prospects, visits, rental turnover, etc.).
  • Validate commissions in line with commission plans.
  • Responsible for revenue and margins for the department; prepare country-level machine sales budgets.
  • Monitor and drive sales force performance indicators.
  • Manage inventory levels in units, value, and turnover rate.
  • Participate in sizing, training, and supervising the sales force.
  • Collect and analyze sales KPIs (sales proposal tracking dashboards, etc.).
  • Participate in major deals and follow key accounts with local management.
Educational Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Management / Engineering / Business School (Bac+5)
  • Fluent English
  • Proficiency in office software
