About The Job
Develop the sales of parts and services. The After-Sales Technical Sales Advisor is a negotiator and seller who visits clients and advises them in identifying, analyzing, and formulating their expectations regarding maintenance (servicing, repairs) and the operation of their equipment.
Specific Skills
- Experience in parts counter sales (minimum 2 years) or
- Experience in technical intervention (STI, technical instructor) (minimum 3 years)
- Commercial and technical knowledge
- Proficiency in French (oral and written)
- Fluent English
- Proficiency in IT tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of manufacturer’s business tools
Responsibilities & Duties
- Sell products (parts and accessories) and services (contracts, repairs, etc.)
- Advise customers to identify, analyze, and formalize their needs.
- Manage customer relationships in a sustainable, personalized, and value-creating way.
- Conduct competitive intelligence.
- Achieve qualitative and quantitative objectives set by their manager.
- Know and monitor the customer account (financial balance, turnover, solvency).
- Identify customer needs.
- Present offers to the manager for approval
- Negotiate with customers in agreement with the manager
- Follow up with customers until closing the deal
- Provide internal feedback on technical and commercial information (competitive intelligence, machine fleet information)
- Define and follow an action plan to achieve objectives
- Measure gaps against the action plan.
Educational Requirements
- Minimum: Bac + 2 (BTS technical-sales, DUT Maintenance, or Engineering school in mechanics, hydraulics, or electricity)
